Lovely peaceful site, but I believe it can be quite noisy if there is an event in the country park next door so worth checking before you plan your visit. Right on the doorstep of the country park next door with plenty of walks and some interesting industrial heritage. Nice doggy friendly cafe has just opened in the park. Fantastic views of the steam trains going past. Easy to hop on and go into Bury for the famous bustling Bury market. Great spot for exploring the North West area. Site spotlessly clean, staff friendly and helpful. Pitches nice and big so don’t feel cramped.
