After a very friendly welcome at reception things went downhill. Pitches are thin on gravel and thick on weeds. Busy weekend so not much choice, chose pitch 36 which is supposed to be a "with awning" pitch. Parked exactly to the marker as usual and put up our small driveaway air porch. Just as last peg going in a very officious man drove up on his tractor and told us to take it down as it was 12 inches on the grass. No pleasantries and didn't even bother to get off the tractor. Very rude and such a contrast to the lovely lady in reception. I do see the point of separation but it would be impossible on that pitch to park correctly and have an awning. Leaving early as not enjoyable with attitude of male member of staff. To add insult there are other people with awnings or cars over grass so obviously just us not allowed!
