Ideal Site for Commuting to Manchester

Stayed here for three nights the site is clean and tidy, showers & toilets immaculate. Country walks are lovely, it takes 35 minutes at strolling pace to get to Bury Town Centre, ok for a bit of shopping, Bury Market great if you need barbecue meat and fish. Steam trains were nice to see going by and you can get these to Bury access via the site. Two very good pubs near the site we used both and very friendly, food good in both and nice to enjoy a pint after a long walk. Yes the cobbles are bumpy but your not on them long. The drive entrance to the site isn't the prettiest as you pass a cow farm which is a bit smelly but it is the countryside and to be expected. A few solar lights on the bridge would be a bonus as its pitch black if you go to the pub at night and have to walk back, recommend you take a torch. We used this site to revisit friends we had not seen for a long time & would use this site again if wanted to have a weekend in Manchester. Staff were very friendly and they are also upgrading a lot of the pitches around the site to accommodate more vans so they are improving and good to see they are passionate about their site.
