Stayed 04/03/22 weekend just gone - what a lovely site - only an hour away from us! Stayed on a service pitch with the steam trains passing back of Motorhome- what a treat! Unfortunately our heating didn’t work (on our brand new van) and despite best attempts we couldn’t get it working - however I called into reception to ask for quickest walking route to town to buy a heater and the lovely female warden offered us her own oil filled radiator- Couldn’t be more helpful! Site facilities spotless and usual caravan club standard. Burrs Country park is lovely to walk round - pub next door and cafe opposite- and of course the East Lancashire Railway next door with 2 for 1 tickets - Didn’t try this time but already booked to go back at Easter will definitely try then! Couldn’t recommend highly enough!!
