Spent three nights at this site and can't rate it highly enough. The wardens were very helpful, friendly and cheerful. It is a brilliant site for dog walking with miles of river and canal paths to follow. There is also a newly constructed train station stop for the East Lancs Railway right at the side of the site. The little pub-The Brown Cow- is a two minute walk and serves basic pub grub at reasonable rates-also dog friendly. Bury's famous market is a £5 taxi ride away for those without transport, well worth the experience! Will definitely stay here again and enjoy the friendly relaxed atmosphere and explore the region more.
