visited again for the new year ,this site is ideal for dog walkers having the country park next door shame i fell on some black ice on new years eve in the park so be mindful even on the made up path it gets slippy ,you can also walk into the town of bury so thats great if you forget to take anything with you and you can catch the bus but ive never done that, spent new years eve in the pub which was nice had a singer on which was better than staying in my camper by myself ,so will be going again in fact just booked a few days there next month ..
