Stayed over over a weekend 7th - 9th August and overall the site is very good, I would highly recommend. Right next to the country park it is a very quiet site (though I did notice that the pub garden was busy and noisy late on Saturday night when I walked the dog so if you have a pitch next to this it may be an issue?) Site is as clean as you would expect, large pitches (was very surprised about that but this was our first visit to a CMC site). Though have to admit I did wonder why they mowed the lawn on a busy weekend??!! They operated a wristband system re the showers and only two could use at one time which was understandabe...but a pain. Country Park is great..lovely wallks with the dog and the pub just outside site is ok...food was ok and the garden was very busy...absolutely no social distancing so if that is a concern stay away!! Have to say whislt is isnt the sites issue the road to and from the site is awful...from coming off the main road all the way through to the site. As I say, overall its a good site and we have already booked to go back...
