We are normally CL'ers, we travel with three active dogs and like our peace and quiet.  This site was perfectly located for us so we thought we would give it a try.  The site was immaculate and the facilities very well kept.  We indulged in showers and wifi (things we aren't used to) and enjoyed our selves thoroughly.  We had a nice grass pitch (don't like hard standing!!) just beside the railway.  For dogs it was perfect as you were straight out the site entrance and into the country park so they could run off lead.  The steam railway was fun to watch and only few services a day so didn't disturb us.  Obviously the site is on edge of the town  and the country park was busy but it was surprisingly quiet.  Overall we were very impressed.
