Wardens at this site like to enforce the rules - and there's nothing wrong with that, dogs off leads roaming around ,members speeding and pitching incorrectly was all put right by these guys ,ten out of ten.The none serviceability of quite a few things is however inexcusable we all paid the increase in club fees this year ! Another member has mentioned the passage to the gents wash room was cordoned off due to an electric cable across the walkway,the only hand dryer in the gents was unserviceable for at least 4 days and possibly longer,pitches were out due to electrical problems and then the wash room boiler failed so 50% of showers unavailable. These failures to rectify faults are not down to the wardens but the Caravan Club and it's not really fair to members considering the cost to stay on these sites. Private sites can call people out and rectify problems very quickly - standards are falling and fees are rising ! This site should be spot on considering where it is located with the heritage railway etc and it should be one of the jewels in the caravan clubs crown.
