We had 6 nights in early April. Very pleasant and helpful Wardens. Spacious Site which has matured since the Caravan Club video was made making a very pleasant environment. There are ducks wandering around and rabbits could been seen playing during the day. From the bus stop, which is about a 10 minute walk, you can catch the bus into town or for £3 per person or for £6.30 buy a 'Day Rider' ticket which covers the bus and trams to get into Manchester. The trams run until past midnight so it's no problem to see a show in Manchester, you won't find a bus that late but a taxi back from the station was around £6, all very easy. We will be back again in June to see another show. Don't forget if you want to ride on the steam train you can get a voucher from the Warden for 2 for 1, we walked to the station from the site, about 40 mins.
