Another Great Stay

Just had a 3 night lovely stay at Burrs. Been here more times than we can remember. The Wardens are lovely & friendly & keep a well kept site. The pitches are a good size & the toilets & showers are immaculate. The country park is great for dog walking & also has an assault/play area for the kids plus plenty of space for ball games. There are 2 pubs close by-one being at the site gates- both doing good food. The steam train goes by at the back of the site which you can get from in town. Town is easily walkable from the site. Now with all these pros comes one negative for this weekend, people walking through your pitch as a short cut to theirs to save on a few extra yards walk. This has to be our biggest pet hate of caravaning. On our first night one family thought it was ok to walk past while we were eating & virtually brush the back of our chairs. We NEVER cut through anybodys pitch in our mind its just rude. We know there is no set rule but a bit of common courtesy doesn't go amiss. All in all though both our friends & ourselves had a lovely weekend.
