Having never been before we were unsure what to expect. No worries. The site was lovely and everywhere was spotless. An easy walk into Bury and the market just takes you by surprise. Didn't eat at the pub next to the site but it was always busy. Lovely to see the steam train passing and getting waves. Sadly the country park area outside the site has a lot of litter in it which is a great shame. My only negative was the length of the grass on site. We were on a grass pitch - by choice - but the grass was ankle deep...otherwise a great site. Sadly the one herb we wanted wasn't in the herb garden, but what a lovely idea.
