Really friendly and knowledgeable staff go way beyond the normal call of duty to make this a very happy site to stay in. The facilities and situation are perfect, it is wonderfully clean and well kept and there is a lot of beautiful local scenery. Just be aware that a major Base like Brize Norton will be noisy at some (quite brief) times of day and evening, but the huge planes are interesting to watch. We had a theory that perhaps the existence of this base led to the poor cellular and wifi signals. We enjoyed our stay enormously - a very therapeutic rest. Thank you to all who made it so.
