Wonderful

Easy to find, the traffic light system to the site is a great idea. On site the views are wonderful, only non awning customers are allowed Lochside, which is fair enough to prevent the view being blocked, however given the size of some motorhomes nowadays, they detract from the view anyway. I agree with others re dogs, though in honesty its a situation that has worsened in recent years wherever you go. I get cheesed off with hearing barking dogs and then owners shouting even louder that their pets. Does away with peace and quiet theory. Members speeding was clearly evident here too. Back to the site. Within walking distance is a pub cum restaurant cum hostel, Four Seasons, which serves great food and is very comfortable and clean, recommend the Balmoral Chicken or Salmon. Fort William is 10 miles away and has a large Morrisons or Asda (can't remember which) by the rail station. The town has a good feel and is worth visiting. Think twice about the Harry Potter/Jacobite rail journey. You might get a decent view when the trees aren't in full bloom but in summer it hides most of it, bit of a rip off really. Ben Nevis, tourist climb, can be accessed close to here too. The multi locks at the Caledonian Canal is here also. Isle of Mull can be accessed via several ferry points in the area and is well worth a visit, the whale watching via Sealife at Tobermory was a great day out, as was a trip to Scaffa Island to see the puffins. Glencoe is close by as are many other areas of beauty. One word of advice, if travelling from Glasgow on the A82 there are very few petrol stations in fact hardly any, the first is at Ballachulish, after that you get plenty lol
