Simply Outstanding Setting..............Just dont tell everyone!
Despite the weather being far from perfect, the views are tremendous, the setting is perfect.
We stayed for 5 nights and could have stayed more its right on the shore line of Loch Lynnhie.
The reception staff were excellent advising on various walks etc.
If you want to pitch up and leave your motorhome or car on the site then there is quite abit within easy reach to keep even the non mountain climbing folk happy.
1. Take the bus into Fort Williiam its the number 44, If you walk up to the site entrance and take a left walk across the bridge and continue to walk along the main A82 until you get to the 'PURPLE' Bus stand this is the stop for the 44, it costs £5.20 return to fort William.
2. Walk up to the 'Corran Ferry' crossing there is a lovely New Restaurant /Coffee/Bar just opened. Take Ferry across the Loch ( Free to Pedestrians ) and there is a lovely 2 - 3 mile walk which is detailed on a map which is available front the Caravan Site office.
Before you cross back on the Ferry visit the White Pub at the Ferry crossing called the ARDGOUR INN, the Steak Pie and Sticky toffee Pudding is amazing !!
3. Take the Walk up to the Inchree Waterfalls, again detailed on the Map from the site.
4. A Walk around to Onich is pleasant although the main road is busy.
