First Trip To Bunree

We have just returned from a 15 night stay at the Bunree Caravan Club Site. The site has some really good scenic views of Loch Linnhe and the surrounding hills and countryside. We found the site quite peaceful and relaxing apart from a bunch of kids who thought the toilet block and laundry was a play facility. The facilities and showers were all clean and maintained. Bathroom is looking a bit tired and probably in need of a refurb. Extra dish washing sinks are maybe needed as we had to queue on more than one occasion to use them. The wardens always seemed active and very pleasant. The site was about 8 miles away from Fort William. Only one bus an hour from the main road to Fort William and only two buses on a Sunday. We phoned a taxi company to get an approximate price and was told £25... return I says, No one way... Well!! So maybe a bit too remote for us was the overall thinking. We visited the Jacobite steam train which is a must along with a visit to the Isle Of Skye, boat cruise on Loch Linnhe and a trip up the Nevis Range on the Ski lift.
