Dog Heaven ??

Had planned on visiting here for a while because of the write up in the guide , and used it to break my journey back down the country from the far North , my conclusion is that it is really only useful for a stopover even if the following points were resolved . The views are pretty good , yes , but the Loch is mostly inaccessible , and any of the local walks require leaving the site , and crossing a busy road . When I see the sign "Dog walk" I read "Dog Toilet" , which would be bad enough but even though the rules state to only walk dogs on designated area it is ignored by most , and on both my mornings there I was treated to watching 5 or 6 dogs fouling the grass in front of the Loch while their owners stood and let them ---while I was having breakfast ---YUK !! Some people brought up to 4 dogs with them , so this place is pretty much infested with them --what is going on here , it's more like Crufts than a holiday park for people .The staff here are more or less unapproachable too , and to top it all I witnessed someone parking their car on an available pitch to reserve it for someone else who arrived much later ---this needs nipping in the bud before it becomes like the "Towels on sun-beds" arrangement we know so well , if not by the staff here who seem to turn a blind eye to infringements of the rules then by the club itself . Oh yes , and there was wind and rain --and midgies ! Very disappointed and glad to leave for home , and before the furore about my comments starts , remember a review is to say what you see --this is what I saw .
