We'll be back

We've only ever driven through Brora before now.  This time we stopped and very delighted that we did. The site is small but immaculately kept.  It is relatively easy to walk to the village where there is a decent selection of shops and eateries.  We can recommend the Royal Marine Hotel for dinner. When you arrive at the site you are given an enormous sheaf of leaflets suggesting walks, including a fascinating self-guided heritage walk around the town.  The local heritage centre is also very well worth a visit - the staff are very friendly and delighted to tell you all abut the history of the village. If you want peace and quiet this is for you.  No internet on site (some may say that this is a blessing) and perhaps a little short of things for families (although there is plenty nearby). Highly recommended
