Good for families

June 2016

Stopped at Brora two nights on our way south from Dunnet Bay Caravan Site. Weather not good but site most welcoming and our hosts welcomed us with their new border terrier called Archie....very sweet. Position is incredible if you like nature....arctic terns nesting on the beach nearby; you don't see those every day in Britain. A beach to die for with nobody else around and a fantastic 175 year old golf club if you like golf. Brora is a beautiful little village with a harbour. Also go to Dornoch which has some really good shops and a cathedral and also Badbea which is a really emotive clearance village site: there is a website for the families of those who left http://badbeafamilies.com/index.html.We rate this as our best site in two weeks of touring the whole of Scotland.
