A great base for exploring the area

We spent 8 nights here during the Easter break (2023). The site is basic with a large open plan field or wooded area to choose from re pitches. Plenty of water and waste sites littered around the site and there is a communal Boules pitch available for use. We got a great pitch near to the water and N/S facing so we had the Sun on the awning all day. The site is lovely and quiet and is well located for exploring. We were able to get to Brighton, Hasting, Eastbourne and a great many National Trust properties in the are with ease (all within around 30 mins drive). The water pressure is about the only thing we found to be a little frustrating as it did take around 6-7 minutes to fill an Aqua Roll. That said we never found ourselves in a queue and knowing it took a while we simply enjoyed the peace and tranquillity as we waited :).
