This is a beautiful site that has the potential to be excellent, but is badly let down by not having a toilet and shower block. I'm not squeamish, but I don't enjoy cleaning out dirty toilets...there were dog bins available, don't the humans deserve at least as good a service? The site directions are not so good: it's nearer half a mile from the entrance to Stalkers Lane than the stated quarter (it does say 600m in the Club book) and there is a pointless excursion round the lanes after East Hoathly when the straight on option is fine. But the site itself is very very good, with a unique central open space in the big field and a lovely wooded area if you want even more peace and quiet.
