Great value, peaceful site

This is a great value club site as long as you're happy using your van's facilities. Choice of open and wooded pitches and there is loads of space. Unusually for a club site not all the space is taken up with pitches.

Very quiet location

This was a very quiet site - no roads, flight paths, tractors or anything. Lots of bird song! Noise from other folks dogs sometimes, but that is all. The site doesn't have an facilities so its just you and your caravan. The club shop sells milk, eggs, papers, etc. The wooden gate is always shut so you have to get out to leave/return. The site isn't actually in Lewes, which is 15 mins away. Brighton is 50 mins away. The local pub is a 40 min walk or 7 mins in the car. I think the site is adult only as we didn't see any kids, which is why it was so quiet! Nice spot

A gem of a site!

This has been our first visit to this site and will not be our last! Spent 5 nights here and enjoyed every moment. The site is spotlessly clean and maintained to a very high standard. The dog walk, although not enclosed, meanders though woodland and is one of the best and most beautiful (bluebells were amazing!) that we have come across. This site has a lovely relaxed atmosphere, with plenty of walks locally. Although no designated play area for children they can happily ride bikes around, play in the wooded areas or play considerately with a ball on the middle field - thank you wardens! I cannot fault this site or the wardens, who were most helpful and friendly - they are a credit to the club and thanks to each and every one of you! :o)

Peaceful and Tranquil

It was our first visit to this site. The country location made for a very peaceful and tranquil stay. There were plenty of walks to choose from plus plenty of places to visit in the area. We shall certainly use the site again and have already recommended the site to other members! The site fees were superb and and a fraction of the cost of nearby camp sites Many thanks to the staff and see you again

Always a perfect site. Glad to see the gates have been reinstalled. Slows the speeders and also stops strangers driving in , makes them report to the office . Not a problem having to open the gates . Please keep them .

Another Great Week Spent At Broomfield

This was our third stay at Broomfield this year. We find it convenient for visiting places nearby or just for staying put and having a rest. We like the feeling of space in the open area and being able to stroll around the site through the wooded area. The wardens are friendly and keep the site very well.. When we arrived this time, we were surprised to find that the entrance has been gated. We can understand that some members might feel more secure with a locked gate at night ,but after many years staying at this site, we could not see why we now have the inconvenience of getting out of the car to open a gate each time we entered and left the site.. Hopefully others will feel like us and the gate can be left open during the daytime in future.

Perfect little gem, for some reason hidden away by the club

A wonderful well run and well kept site, which we found by accident. For some reason the club does not want anyone to know about this site! Whilst the last mile of the access is a bit narrow and there is not a toilet block this is a lovely site which has been well-cared and maintained for for by the current wardens. will definitely be returning for a longer stay next year.

Peace & Quiet

We stayed Friday through to Monday this passed August Bank Holiday. Lovely site. Would stay again when back in the area. The access roads are a little narrow but we didn't have any issue. We had our grandson with us aged 5 & he loved it, playing & makes some friends.Nice wardens too. Nick

Peace and quiet

This site is surrounded by farmland , A laid back site , with birds singing. Not a site for children, as no play area . More a site for the older caravaner. Smashing wardens, helpful and friendly. Lots of walking , the Downs nearby. Approach lane is narrow , take it slow and don’t arrive before 12 you shouldn’t have a problem. Worth a visit.

A peaceful sanctuary

Lovely site if you like peace and quiet. Wardens helpful and courteous. Access is restricted by narrow lanes with few passing places. Suggest to arrive a bit late and when finally leaving make it early and take the wardens' advice. Coastal resorts and historic towns within easy reach. We enjoyed our first stay there and will certainly return
