Pleasant weekend

I spent bank holiday weekend here at Bromyard and didn't regret it for one minute. It was my first outing alone since my wife passed away in May and I couldn't have made a better choice. Small, compact surrounded by trees and birds and managed by two of the friendliest wardens I have ever encountered. The town of Bromyard is well worth a visit with its single high street well populated with shops and eateries and is only a 25 to 30 mins walk from the site across the common. There is no toilet block on the site but in modern outfits this isn't a problem. The site is well kept with units around a central island on the lower level and again in a mainly circular formation on the upper level.Easy to find, my satnav took me straight to it about 7 miles outside Worcester. An easy walk to the nearest National Trust property where there is a tea room if you fancy a snack and lovely gardens to view. There have been comments in reviews about traffic noise but I have to be honest it wasn't at all bad occasional traffic passing but certainly nothing to put anyone off going, its not as if you are next to Heathrow airport! Visit this lovely little site and see for yourselves, you won't regret it.
