Low key, quiet and simple

This must be the smallest club site that I have ever visited. If you arrive on a Wednesday you will find that the reception is closed all day as it is the wardens day off. Just follow the instructions on the board for finding a pitch and book in the following day. Yes, it is a low key site and has a certain charm about it. It is peaceful apart from the surprisingly noisy main road but this is probably more apparent at the top end of the site. However, you soon forget about the traffic and being a small site there is not the constant coming and going of vehicles and new arrivals touring around looking for a pitch. There is a footpath that runs along the boundary which is great for us dog owners as you can if you wish take your K9 on a circular walk of around 2-3 miles. Just across the main road are the Bromyard Downs which offer more walks across grassy downland and at this time of year has the biggest display of wild spotted orchids that I have ever seen. And if you enjoy an energetic walk the Malvern Hills are only a 20 min drive away. The Malvern Hills offer some of the most spectacular views you can experience so the effort is well rewarded. If you enjoy simple relaxation then this is a great site. I could not give it 5 stars because my pitch was too close to my neighbour for comfort. I noticed other pitches to be rather close. Also, if i had been putting up an awning then it would have been almost up against a hedge
