A Break at Bromyard
Bromyard Downs is a small, pretty no facilities site on 2 levels, it has a mix of HS and grass pitches, & Each section has its own service point.
The site is situated just of the A44 so depending on where you pitch there can be a fair bit of road noise.
Most of the HS pitches are quite narrow so if you have an awning the car has to be parked across the front of the pitch. The grass pitches were not in use when we visited. There is a footpath from the top of the site which takes you to the entrance of the Brockhampton Estate, which has extensive walks in the parkland, & a moated manor house.
Bromyard is a lovely little town, with lots of independent shops including a good butchers & bakery, there is also a coop supermarket. The site information hut had details of lots of walks in the area too, including over the downs.
We visited Ludlow and Berrington Hall, and can recommend both.
There is no play area on site, so it may not suit families.
We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
