October half term
Our first visit to Broadway and we can't believe we've overlooked the site for so long!
We arrived about 6.30 on Sunday evening and despite the office being closed we were greeted by the lady warden who had seen us arrive.
The site is immaculate and well laid out with generously sized hard standing pitches. Our kids are a bit older now and the small play area is more suited for younger kids but they tell me it's a good site for riding their bikes around.
We made use of the visiting Pizza van and chip van which with the nights closing in was easier than firing up the Cadac.
We were lucky with some great Autumn weather which made exploring the local area a pleasure.
Broadway village is a lovely place to visit and can be accessed by walking if you're that way inclined. There is an abundance of shops for the chaps to stand outside of while the girls spend hours looking at God knows what. When you've finished waiting around all of the shops in Broadway, (which we split over 2 days) there's more at the nearby Evesham country park.
If I had to find something to critisize, the hot water in the dish washing area could be a bit hotter...
We will certainly be returning in the future.
