Disappointing access to Cotswolds

Site like all club sites we have visited clean and well maintained. Did have some noise from roads to both sides of site. Broadway a 20 minute flat walk into town . We were left disappointed about our stay as looking at the map thought it was ideally situated to visit the Cotswolds without moving motorhome. But found the bus service very bad even staff on site said don't bother. As we like to explore found ourselves travelling out in motorhome. It's 7.6mts long so not the easiest to park. After circling villages a few times managed to find places to leave it but would imagine this was only due to time if visit. We're here during storm Dennis so lots of rain. Tried to get a taxi into town for a meal to avoid a downpour only to be told a few hours waite and a £15 callout as located in evesham so waited for a lull and made a run for it . A lovely site situated in a great part of the country but very restricted on public transport

You don't say how long you were on site for?

We find two or three nights then move on is a good option, you can spend time looking in the immediate area then only have to move 5 miles away and look at a new village.

Part of the benefit of having a motorhome we think

I would just like to say we stayed at the same time as the reviewer (in a motorhome  which is 6m long ) and for us it was a 10 mins walk. So please take this into account of you are visiting this lovely site which is in easy walking distance to Broadway. I cannot comment on taxis but in the information centre I do recall there were a number of taxis operating out Broadway. I would also add that storm Dennis did not have any affect on our stay and the only noise we encountered was the wind rustling through the trees. We throughly enjoyed our stay and thank you to the wardens for keeping the site so well presented.
