6 days on 'Broadway
Having been a club member for many years, this was my first visit to Broadway, it certainly will not be my last. Everything was brilliant from the reception on arrival, the layout of the site, the quality of the pitches, and excellent facilities. We were lucky enough to have a pitch on the part of the site away from the road, with views of the steam trains on the Gloucester and Warwickshire railway. The site was full at the time of the visit but it did not feel overrun or did the facilities seem at full stretch. I believe this came about as a result of the sensible time for cleaning the facilities in the afternoon rather than at 10.30am in the morning which causes a rush. The facilities were well maintained and kept very clean even on a full site. Well done to the warden team for all their hard work in keeping the place so well presented, thank you.
The area is a great place to visit lots to see and do, we didn't see everything we wanted so will be back for more. Visits included: - the railway - great since they have now extended the line to Broadway, and I think life blood to them. Harvington Hall near Droitwich was fascinating with all its priest holes, even featured in Country Life, well worth a visit. Charlcote Park, Sudeley Castle and Chedworth Roman villa were part of the itinerary. Also visited Broadway the town seems to sold its soul less to tourism than some Cotswold towns, Stow - great kitchen shops and Chipping Campden. Look forward to coming back
