This was our third visit to this lovely site. The site itself is well laid out and well maintained by the friendly site team who really do appear to enjoy their job. The proximity to Brighton which means you can walk, cycle or take a bus is a real draw. The site is on the edge of the South Downs where there are scenic walks or bike rides. Highly recommend a walk to Rottingdean along the undercliff walk. A real bonus for this site is Philippes patisserie at the site gate. In addition to homemade pastries, cakes and coffee he does a takeaway service in the service evenings - all expertly cooked by Philippe and very reasonably priced. He has tables and chairs where you can take your own wine and sit and eat to the accompaniment of some relaxing music in the evening if you prefer. We will be back again next year without a doubt as this one of our favourite sites!
