Stayed here for 4 nights. Despite the previous review, I found the wardens very helpful and courteous not only in reception but also when out and about on site, The site was up to CAMC usual standard with lots of choice of pitches, as well as experience freedom pods and tents allowed in a special camp field. Loved the little patisserie van on site - nice touch. Other campers were respectful of quiet times and speed limit. My only complaint (which isn’t the wardens fault) is the road leading up to the site. It has two massive pot holes which are avoidable due to camper vans and what appears to be some illegal campers parked alongside the road. We had to drive over these pot holes at less than 5mph otherwise they would do serious damage to our car and caravan. It doesn’t help that you hit a pot hole and then have two speed bumps to navigate. Brighton council should resurface the road, as well as tackling the illegal parking/camping of some camper vans / caravans.
