Superb in every way!

Just back from our first stay at Brighton, it will not be our last I can assure you. A large'ish site but cleverly split into sections that make the site very comfortable even when full. We parked at the far end (109) & that was blissfully quiet, just be aware of the trees. Trees = birds = poop! Facilities were as you would expect, spotless. Wardens never intrusive but were always around busying themselves & very pleasant to talk to. Site was immaculate & the wardens deserve all the credit they can get for that. A few eating places we found: Barley Mow on St George's Rd is a must, quaint old style pub that serves 'Pie-minster' pies to die for, all flavours with gravy, mushy peas & crispy shallots......oh boy, were they good! 'Marmalade' in Eastern Rd just up from Lidl. Cafe/coffee shop offering lovely coffee, homemade scones, cakes, sausage rolls, lunches, snacks the lot. Well worth finding, you won't be disappointed. 'Mollys' in Rottingdean, right beside the beach, ideal stop for a coffee & scone or other goodies. If you fancy cycling, the 'cycle network' goes from the promenade for miles & miles, stop off for a coffee here & there, good exercise & great views. Brighton is a gorgeous looking town & very enjoyable. Whatever you want I dare say Brighton can offer you, we'll all be going back to Brighton at some stage!
