Nice Site.
Arrived at reception and made welcome. You are told to park on your pitch with the corner of your vehicle adjacent to the post at the back centre of the pitch. Some health and safety nonsense. Told to find a pitch with a white post and then return to reception and tell them which pitch you are on and then get an entry card for the barrier. Not ideal.
I would mention that the website for this site says it is full when it is not. Worth ringing to see if they do have space. I did tell the lady at reception this. She didn't seem interested.
It is a nice site with large pitches. The shower block was excellent. Very warm and lots of good clean facilities.
You can walk into Brighton from the site but it is a good two miles and takes about 35 minutes. You can walk down to the sea front/marina and then along the front all the way to Brighton. You can also walk a similar distance the other direction to Rottingdean. Good walks for dogs. You could cycle into Brighton. Personally I would avoid taking the car. Finding parking in Brighton is difficult and expensive.
There are plenty of pubs and restaurants within walking distance of the site.
On Saturday afternoon there was a football match at the stadium near the site. It was like South America with chanting, drums, trumpets and whistles. You may want to avoid Saturday afternoons on site.
Overall a nice site and would recommend it.
