Had a lovely few days at the site until bank holiday weekend when the site was overrun with Vespas and Lambretta scooters. Members riding them around the site picking up friends and revving the guts out of them - which left plumes of smelly blue smoke. There was obviously a meet on which I wasn't aware of. New scooter arrivals walking through our pitch to get to their friend's pitch, lacking in manners and courtesy. Sadly spoiled the end of our break. Toilet block wasn't always as clean as it should have been - sadly members are to blame for some of the mess. Would return but will be checking before hand if there are any events on which may spoil our stay.
