We arrived in our Motorhome at 5.30 on a Saturday afternoon, weary from a five and a half hour journey and reception staff couldn't have been more welcoming. The site was very busy so they had allocated a pitch but promised we could move on Monday if we disliked it. It was a hard standing pitch in a lovely location so we were happy. We didn't intend to spend much time on site as we were in Brighton until around 8 or 9 pm most evenings. As usual, the toilets and showers were extremely clean and well maintained and the cleaning times of the two blocks differed so that there was always one available. If radio 2 is your thing then the piped music in there is ideal for you! Many pitches are quite sheltered from sea breezes which makes sitting outdoors very pleasant. We were able to watch a variety of rabbits and wild birds going about their daily routines, such a pity some dog owners on site couldn't be bothered to clean up after their animals. The site is in a great location, close to bus stops, supermarkets and takeaway shops. It's a pleasant walk down to the marina with more shops, pubs and a huge Asda. The Hop-on, Hop-off site seeing bus can be caught here. We could hear the surrounding sports fields being used but it wasn't intrusive, but we weren't there on Saturday morning when I assume they would be at their busiest. A great site that we intend to return to!
