Pitches are allocated according to size which can lead to problems with access to some at busy times. Without a car you have to walk an hour to Bridport ...pleasant in the sunshine but weather can't be relied on. Cycling down the only road is dangerous for a mile and half before picking up the cycle track to Bridport and West Bay (5 miles). We tried it twice and it is unpleasant on a very busy road and not for the nervous as traffic builds up behind on steep twisty road. Facilities are OK but the Restaurant has disappeared. So OK for a caravan or panel van but not ideal for larger motorhomes if you want to explore the area....there is a large motorhome friendly car park in West Bay behind the old station.
