after coming here before we really looked forward to staying at this site,however,our experience on arrival was not what we would have expected. The member of staff who was booking us in was very arguementative,she tried to overcharge us regarding the new vat rate and was most insistent that she was right! After several exchanges and our proof of costs she rechecked her system and conceeded that there had been an error,no apology was forthcoming.Later, on asking more questions re local info was given very abrupt answers by another member of staff which amounted to -find out yourself ! Covid measures were clearly being abused with members hanging on to bands for themselves. Experienced better systems at other club sites, one being that you had a band numbered to your pitch which you retained for the duration of your stay,this was placed on a peg board outside of shower/loo blocks,if peg full you waited till one became vacant. Paths to showers/loo were blocked off forcing members to walk over pitches,this was unneccessary as you could easily walk down paths whilst others waited at the other end.Common sense!
