Lovely site in a great setting
We really enjoyed five nights last week at Bridlington club site. The hard standing pitches are large. If you are on a serviced pitch bring an extra length of water pipe as the service posts for water are between pitches. Tv boosters available. Good phone and 4G signal. It’s a fair walk into Bridlington, about half an hour, but you can walk through open parkland next to Sewerby Hall. You can walk freely through the grounds of Sewerby hall with no admission cost. To the north you have Flamborough head which is a beautiful place. There are a number of beaches and the RSPB site at Bempton cliffs cannot fail to impress you. We were warmly welcomed on arrival by a female warden which was a great welcome. During this period plan carefully where to pitch as the narrow pathways between the different areas have been closed off temporarily meaning you have to take the long walk round. The only thing that spoiled our stay was being told off quite rudely by a different female warden when we arrived back from our bike ride and were about to ride through the gap at the side of the barrier. We were spoken to like naughty school children. I have never stayed on a site where cyclists have had to use the barrier key fob before.
Apart from this incident Bridlington site comes highly recommended by us and will love to return.
