Brilliant site in a fantastic location
This site is spotless and maintained to an excellent standard.
The location was perfect for us. Bus stops to Brid and Flamborough right outside the site, with an hourly service each way.
Also, lovely walks direct from the site to Danes Dyke, and the coast (via the golf course over the road- Walk up the main golf course road, follow straight on through the woods and onto the coastal path)
Bridlington is a lovely town, spotless, lots of places to eat/drink, free to use public loos everywhere, beautiful beaches and lots more. About 2-3 miles walk. You can also cycle to town, using the same golf course route.
Flamborough gives access to beautiful coastal cliff top walks. We even saw a grey seal colony, and a school of dolphins from the cliffs.
Only downside, was the warden who didn't appreciate my polite tactful suggestions regarding the washing up sinks which thoughtless members had left in a dirty state. My comments/suggestions were not welcomed or acted upon, and the passive aggression of this male warden was palpable.
In all a wonderful holiday
