We are regulars at this site and enjoy the site, its location, cleanliness, etc etc no complaints. The openness of the new section is probably due to it only been open a year or two with hedges etc not having time to grow yet. It does save sitting in the shade of trees when the sun comes out. However a point to be aware of is the trouble we had leaving the site on our day of departure recently. Not wanting to rush off the site and relax on our last morning we started moving off our pitch at 11.25am still within time. However on getting to the exit the usual early arrivers were there queuing. This wouldn't be a problem but they were on the bend of the drive just before the reception. This made getting round the corner extremely difficult almost impossible resulting in a scuffed nearside wheel on the kerb. So if you must arrive long before 12noon in your efforts to get the best pitches please don't park on the last bend before reception, park on the straight parts of the drive, leave the bend free and let the people leaving within their time room to do so. Perhaps a few cones on the bend at busy times to stop waiting there may assist as I've seen arrivals queuing at 11 am in the past.
