We have stayed at this site several times in the past, is always consistent, this is a clean, modern and excellent site. Spacious pitches, plenty of grass areas around each pitch. Superb facilities, run by polite, friendly efficient wardens. We like the area, can walk to Bridlington, Sewerby, Danes Dyke. Nice to walk along the wide open pathways near the sea at Sewerby where this is also a dog friendly beach. Visit Filey, Flamborough, North Landing. Due to government guidelines showers not currently in use. Alternate toilets and privacy cubicles are open, also laundry and washing up area. System club have in place is to take a band out of Milton tub and hang on a hook outside toilet block, 4 people allowed at a time, then return band to liquid as you leave the facility. If 4 bands on hooks you queue outside. Simple enough, however we noticed on several occasions people obviously forgetting to return their bands as they left, so it looked as if 2 or 3 people were inside, when block was obviously completely empty. Could mean you are waiting outside when there is no need, so club might need to re-think system, people are just forgetting to do this, despite being clear instructions and a sign on door to remind you as leave. Blocks weren’t busy while we were there but this could be a problem once people are using them more. This is just human error as there is no advantage to be gained by someone leaving their band on the hook, realise the club is trying to use a system they believe to be the best for health and safety etc.
