Stayed for 4 nights over the bank holiday weekend on a grass electric pitch(touring caravan). After reading quite mixed reviews I was a bit dubious. I found the staff were very helpful and provided a good service throughout the time i was were, i family who live nearby who spent the day with us and parked at the site which again the staff were helpful and welcoming. I always found the shower and toilet facilities were very clean. We pitched up opposite the kids play park which was quite noisy until close to 10pm, but I do have a child myself which was why i chose the spot and i think the rest of the site seemed peaceful so if you pitch up near this area expect a bit of noise. The only downside to this site is the fact it doesn't have an onsite shop and you need to drive to morrisons (5minute) which wouldn't suit motorhome holidaymakers. 3 horseshoes is an excellent pub and a nice walk to to get there. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it but an onsite shop would be ideal.
