Nestled near the foothills of Bannau Brycheiniog National Park, or Brecon Beacons National Park by its English name, Brecon Beacons Club Campsite offers some spectacular views of Bannau Brycheiniog’s dramatic peaks, including Pen-y-Fan, Cribyn and Corn Du. It features a plethora of facilities that include two toilet blocks and play areas for children. A circular dog walk leads to a pretty stream and woodland area which is the perfect place to spot some local wildlife. This Welsh campsite with its central location provides the ideal base for touring local towns, including Brecon, Talgarth and Abergavenny. A pleasant 1.5 mile walk along the Brecon Canal path takes you into Brecon, where you will find a weekly market, shops and restaurants and a theatre with a varied programme.
For those who love the outdoors, you couldn’t get a much better location than Brecon Beacons Club Campsite. The nearby hills and mountains offer plenty of opportunity for walking, cycling, climbing and caving. For a more laid-back break the scenery of Bannau Brycheiniog National Park is equally as spectacular when exploring by car. Whatever you choose to do, the campsite makes a great base from which to see the sights and if you've built up a thirst after all that activity, there's a nice local pub about 10-minutes' walk away!

Nothing bad to say about the site, pitches, facilities, wardens, etc. The issue for me with this site is it's location at the apex of a wedge created by the coming together at a roundabout for the A40, A470 and B4601. The roads are busy and very popular... Show more

First time staying here. And loved it. Large clean pitch. Shame the heating wasn’t working in the shower block, but, was informed about this prior to arrival. And it wasn’t an issue for us. Lovely walks. Didn’t dare venture across the dual carriageways though. Traffic was quite noticeable but it... Show more
