This is site is fabulous, the pitches are a very good size and the toilets and showers are spotless. The views of Pen-Y-Fan from the campsite on a clear day are spectacular. There is a dog friendly pub called the 3 horse shoes about a 10 minute walk away but remember to take a torch it's quite dark walking back with little lighting in places. If you want food there you need to book, we did not and they were to busy to fit us in. Brecon is approximately a 1.5 mile stroll down the canal which is lovely and there are plenty of pubs in Brecon as well as coffee shops and places to eat. Very friendly wardens. We stayed in March so the site was quiet and very relaxing, although I have stayed on a bank holiday and even though busy it is still a great place to relax.
