After a terrible night in a similar camp site - we were really worried about pitching in a site with trees ... we explained this on arrival and the team at this site couldnt have been more helpful. They suggested some pitches that would work for us and let us drive around and have a look ourselves. This made such a difference... the site is lovely and its within about a 30 minute walk to the village where there is a lovely cafe. There is also a walk around the lake to a hotel for lunches/drinks. We didnt have time this visit but plan on going back to have a better look around. Definitely recommend this site. Make sure you check the directions though as the satnav could take you in a direction thats not possible to take with a motorhome. Again we phoned the site and the lady there (sorry I forgot her name) was so helpful, giving us directions and telling us that it was a bit tight in some places but we would definitely be able to get our motorhome there.
