Have stayed at club sites and in the Lakes many times but the welcome received has to be one of the friendliest, welcoming and helpful ever. The wardens really could not have done more. The travel instructions in the club book are essential as following SatNav would have meant a far more trying route what with huge tractors, waste disposal lorries and buses. The close proximity of a bus route that allowed you to flag down or stop en route served us well. Seeing a red squirrel from our pitch on the first night was a real bonus. Would thoroughly recommend this site without hesitation!
