Had a lovely 4 night stay early June. Being honest this is our favourite site in the lakes due to its location and quite setting. If you are comfortable with no toilet block this is the place to explore and relax in. Always worth an early rise and stroll through the woods as you are pretty much guaranteed to see Roe Deer, for bird watches the woods provide a fantastic array from birds of pray down to little coal tits. A short walk over to lodore falls gives you a bonus of gold crest. If it nature and tranquility you want, this is the place for you. The site is small and kept very well and the staff are very friendly. See you soon.
