Stayed here many times - one of my favourite CC sites Water waste and power and that's it! No other facilities! Great individual pitches amongst trees well spaced out - even when the site is full you don't realise Temporary wardens were on the last time I visited and we're very helpful 2 mins and your lakeside on the Derwentwater round the lake path (good dog walking) with boat landing stage 10 mins which'll the you to Keswick or around the lake Circular bus to Keswick via Buttermere stops at entrance Wonderful walks with high and low level on the doorstep - no need to travel! Good cafe in Grange 10mins walk Supermarkets in Keswick 15 mins drive If you enjoy walks with stunning scenery this is the site for you
