What an amazing site, it's so beautiul even when it's raining! Which it was, a lot, while we were there. We stayed at the far end and the smell of pines and woodland was lovely to wake up to. We had the warmest of welcomes from the relief team and loads of advice on what to do and where to go, timings for buses and boats etc. It was a great location for getting around as the bus stops at the gate and it's a nice walk through the woods to pick up the lake boat for a round trip to Keswick. While there were no toilets and showers the rest of the facililities are al kept clean and tidy. We had a really enjoyable stay and would love to return. Particularly valued the TV booster.
