Great Bank Holiday Weekend
Had an awful journey to Manesty (sorry Borrowdale). Warden's wife was most understanding and helpful. Warden gave a wonderful welcome despite the arrival time. Warden's "Shop" sold everything we could have wanted to save the drive to Keswick. Used to come twice yearly for many years, had a break but returning was as good as ever. Lovely meal at the Mary Mount (using discount negotiated by Warden), walks are all brilliant from site. Site very well looked after and peaceful. Most enjoyable weekend, thanks to the Wardens.
