A few narrow roads + bridge to negotiate to get to this site but well worth it. Staff some of the friendliest and most helpful we have come across. Only stopped one night but plan to return shortly. Nice walks around Derwent Water (including board walks over soft ground) - just a pity there is not a dedicated path from the lake to the entrance of the Club site. Note that there is no shower/toilet block but I guess this reduces the number of kids coming to this site and hence adds to the peace! Thanks for a great break.
